What it is

LinkOS finds sites that could link to a client. It starts from the backlinks competitors already have, throws out the junk, checks each site is live, and finds a way to contact it. This page is the internal view of all of that. It is for staff only: never paste prospect lists or contact details into a client deck.

The tabs

• Clients: one card per client with domains found, worth pitching and shortlisted.
• Opportunities: every site. Filter, search, then Shortlist or Dismiss.
• Runs: each run’s funnel, from raw rows down to worth pitching.
• Settings: a client’s competitors, niche and place terms, DR bands.
• Start a run: queue a fresh check.

Things to try

• Open a client, choose Worth pitching, then add a Live, links out filter to see the best prospects.
• Look at Needs a look: sites we have only a domain for, so a person should judge them.
• Shortlist a few sites. Everyone sees it straight away.
• Add or remove a competitor in Settings, save, then queue a run to see the effect.

Good to know

• Settings apply from the next run, not to past runs.
• A run is picked up within about ten minutes. Watch its status under Start a run.
• Re-check saved data is free. A fresh Ahrefs pull spends API units, so ask before using it.
• DR bands are placeholders until the agreed packages are set.
• New backlink exports are not uploaded here yet. Ask Matt to load one.
• Outreach drafting is not built yet.
